I got the gospel in me. I need to tell it to somebody. No, not that kind of gospel. Have any of you ever went on strike?

thenoobyorker: Tucson, Arizona, public schools suspended their Mexican-American studies program after an administrative law judge ruled it violated a new state law and the state said the local district was going to lose $15 million in annual aid, officials said. The Governing Board of the Tucson Unified School District voted late Tuesday to suspend immediately the Mexican-American studies...

In the last 15 minutes as I was driving to pick up my sister, I realized I had somehow managed to fuck up and confuse that previous image of Camus with Sartre which is all but an ugly mistake. Probably because I’ve been thinking about existential jokes all day, of which will be posted soon. Thank you all 250 followers for not pointing out my mistake. :)

modus-ponies: kgrrw: Do you ever have those moments where you come to the realization that everything is pointless and stupid and you don’t understand how you ever cared about things as much as you did, because what’s the point? Everything is meaningless, including us, so why the fuck do we care so much? Yes but I don’t find it depressing at all like most people, I actually think it’s really...

KBACKBLOG
Finally, after a long hiatus and some assimilating (but odd) experiences in Los Angeles, I now remember why it is I love solitude so much. You may cue any Salinger quote, but I’m going to try and take this blog back to its original intentions. I’m back and the events from the last two weeks will probably, over time, be revealed through allusions and Big Fish eloquence unless my already...

I’m not a very big fan of E.E. Cummings because I don’t really care for his typographic renunciations, but I have to admit a lot of his poetry permeates a really well done ‘typographically rhythmic’ or whatever you want to call it essence (dats what i call it anyway), and I’ve always liked the following lines: may my mind stroll about hungry and fearless and thirsty...

The clouds move faster here than California for some reason even when you’re driving 75MPH in the car. You can still witness them manipulate and evolve into the imagination and artistry of anticipating progenies. It’s an amalgam of beauty and efficacy and thank God for this...
